Vocalist and composer Amanda Ekery weaves her experience in underground rock, improvisatory creative music, research, and jazz into her compositions, workshops, and community-based performances.

Amanda’s compositions have been featured at the Kennedy Center and the Panama Jazz Festival, and earned her grants from New Music USA and Chamber Music America. Amanda’s recent album “Keys With No Purpose,” received praise in Downbeat Magazine, features an 11-piece large ensemble, and earned her the St. Botolph Club Foundation Artist Award.
