The Young Composer Concert (YCC) program IS BACK FOR 2023-24 🎉

1️⃣ YCC is TUITION FREE for all accepted students (18 & younger)
2️⃣ Free to apply
3️⃣ YCC participants may participate virtually or in person

Application deadline: August 7th, 11:59pm central time

There will be an application Q&A session/meet & greet on August 5th at 2:30pm central time via zoom (link to be sent out to those who have applied or joined the YCC email list)

YCC program:

YCC fosters the growth of budding musicians into emerging composers with an emphasis on equity. We aim to change the perception about what classical music is, who writes it, and who consumes it. The program is entirely free for accepted youth.

The program is student-led, and they work together to collectively produce the concert, learning both the musical and non-musical skills necessary for promoting their works and sharing them with the public — all under the guidance of our staff and a network of professional mentors.
