This year, instead of a live concert, the young composers will be sharing the album that they have created together, in isolation, during the pandemic lockdown. The young composers met twice each month via Zoom and worked with small group mentors Nia Imani Franklin, Chía Patiño, Felipe Pérez Santiago, and Dario González Valderrama in addition to Graham Reynolds and other composers and performers from around the world.
