Jane Claire makes music in Austin, Texas. Her sound pulls influences from Björk, Solange and Frank Ocean. Her lyrics are informed by living in the South, politics, cellulite and being a bad woman.

Since putting out her first four-track EP “Sour Grapefruit” in 2019, she has played South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas and opened for the likes of OSHUN, Nomi Ruiz, Bunny Michael and more. Her work has also been profiled in publications like Texas Monthly and Forbes.

Outside of making music, Jane Claire is known as a creative producer and activist. She is the founding director of #bossbabesATX (a nonprofit amplifying women and nonbinary creatives, entrepreneurs and community leaders), and she actively designs festivals, conferences and experiences for other humans.
