Jimena Palma de Gyvés is an undergraduate student in piano and composition at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

She participated in the 4 editions of the Gabriel Ruiz Scholarship in the composition area (2018 – 2020).

Jimena presented her cycle “Zapotec Songs” for soprano and harpsichord at the “Aires Nacionales 2018” festival.

Jimena also received honorary mention at the first competition of the “Trío matices” for violin, clarinet and piano ensemble with the work “Ambivalente” (2019).
